The Boca Raton Blazers make the most of 3 hits in 5-1 victory over the Palm Beach Xtreme

The Boca Raton Blazers (4-1) and the Palm Beach Xtreme (3-3) each put runners in scoring position on Sunday, but the Boca Raton Blazers capitalized on more RBI opportunities, pulling out a 5-1 win at Miller Park. Danny Tufariello (Palm Beach Atlantic) racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Boca Raton Blazers. He doubled in the fourth innings and singled in the sixth inning. Michael Koltak (Georgetown University) got the win for the Boca Raton Blazers thanks to 10 strikeouts. Koltak allowed one earned run on four hits and one walk over seven innings. A bright spot for the Palm Beach Xtreme in the defeat was Brady Acker (Chipola State), who allowed only one run while striking out five. Andrew Don (Eckerd College) ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just 1 2/3 innings, walked two, struck out none, and allowed four runs.
