The Palm Beach Blazers Outdone By Flick And The Pompano Beach Clippers, 2-1

Ryan Flick collected three hits, helping the Pompano Beach Clippers (12-7) to a 2-1 victory over the Palm Beach Blazers (14-10) on Saturday at Dick Brown Park.

He singled in the second, seventh, and ninth innings.

The Palm Beach Blazers' lineup had no answer for Adam Ogburn. The Palm Beach Blazers managed just two hits off of Ogburn, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out four during his three innings of work.

Alex Kranick had two extra-base hits for the Palm Beach Blazers. He doubled in the second and fourth innings.

Zach Lawrence pitched seven innings and allowed one earned run, eight hits and one walk while striking out four.

Chris Flores recorded his fourth win of the year for the Pompano Beach Clippers. He allowed one run over five innings. He struck out two, walked three and surrendered four hits.

Lawrence was charged with his second loss of the year.
