John Ingram is a formal All-State, All-Suncoast and All-County pitcher at St. Petersburg Catholic High School in St. Petersburg, Florida. Receiving attention from college recruiters, he then accepted a baseball scholarship to Edison Junior College in Ft. Myers, FL currently known as Florida Southwestern State College. After spending two years at Edison Junior College John accepted a scholarship to NCAA powerhouse Florida Southern College to play for the legendary Joe Arnold.

At the start of his coaching career, John managed an American Legion team for 5 years winning multiple state championships. He then took a job as the Head Coach at his high school alma mater St. Petersburg Catholic and was voted coach of the year.

After several years at St. Petersburg Catholic, John took a pitching coach job a junior college powerhouse St. Petersburg College. After only one year at St. Petersburg College, John transitioned into professional baseball as the Area Scouting Supervisor with the Cincinnati Reds for the State of Florida.

Later in life John moved into the corporate banking world and eventually retired as Vice President at SunTrust Bank. In his recent retirement, John is now pursuing his passion of baseball as he looks to begin his 1st season as the Boca Raton Blazers Pitching Coach.
