Early Lead Not Enough For The Florida Barons, Drop 2-1 Decision To The Palm Beach Blazers

The Florida Barons (5-11) jumped out to an early lead, but were unable to hold on and lost 2-1 to the Palm Beach Blazers (13-8) on Friday.

The Palm Beach Blazers took the lead in the seventh inning.

Luke Rodino's nine strikeouts helped the Palm Beach Blazers to the victory. Rodino allowed one earned run on eight hits and three walks over seven innings.

Orlando Rodriguez (0-2) took the loss for the Florida Barons. He lasted just two innings, walked three, struck out five, and allowed one run.
